Email: hnlarson@sbcglobal.netI am a Vietnamese immigrant who came to the US in 1980. I was exposed to the wonders of the outdoors while in college at UC Davis, and I began teaching in 1995. I now teach 3 days a week at Alder Creek Middle School; I serve the other 2 days a week as Assistant Principal at Glenshire Elementary School in Truckee. I have worked in Washington DC under the Secretary of Education, and I am now working toward my PhD in Educational Leadership. As a
city-locked
kid growing up in the projects of Los Angeles, I would have
benefited immensely from some exposure to the beauty of the natural
world. As an officer in TAO Education, Inc., I hope I can extend these
opportunities to young people while making sure cost is not an issue. |
